Chasing Rainbows Birthday

By | Birthday, Events | No Comments

When I was coming up with a design concept for my niece’s birthday I really wanted her to continue seeing positivity in the world.   So I started thinking of things that she loved and could relate to my message, “RAINBOWS” are her favorite.  So I came up with “Chasing Rainbows”  because it provides a strong message to always keep positive and see the best in any situation.  At the end of every rainbow is a pot of gold a “beautiful lesson that made you stronger.”   But of course we couldn’t keep to the traditional primary color scheme of a rainbow,  needed to add a chic spin to it!  So we went with muted tones which complimented the modern boho vibe we love.

When I am in need of awesome paper goods, I always visit Ellie and Piper Co..  They offer the best selections.  These terrazzo metallic plates were the perfect addition to the tabletop and added that pop of shimmer every little girl loves.  The rattan chargers were actually mirrors that I scored in the dollar spot at Target, definitely will be putting these to use for future events…favorite new item to our inventory.  When designing I wanted to bring in the rainbow element very subtly and so I created these DIY yarn rainbows.  Creating those rainbows was a labor of love and tons of fun, I had the pleasure of putting them together with my sister and niece.  Creative Amme always brings my ideas to life, the rainbow stir-sticks were a dream come true.  The rope element was the perfect boho touch to the super modern paper goods.

The balloon installation was the perfect backdrop to the tablescape.  When creating I didn’t want to represent the typical arch shape of a rainbow, so layering the colors gave it that feel.

When thinking of the cake design, I wanted to have modern boho feel with a rainbow touch.  I was inspired by yarn art that had meticulous detail, so I gave the image to Amriel.  I would have to say Amriel Cakes nailed my vision while giving the cake her own spin.  Her dessert are beautiful to look at and delicious to eat!

When you are forced to have a “Shelter in Place” birthday celebration, a #MINNImesh was in order for the littles to have a ball.  I love that Minidip and Mesh Kids Co. have paired up to create these fashionable inflatable ball pits that are perfect for any age kiddo to have hours of fun at home.   No virus is going to take away our fun.

20 Year Vow Renewal

By | Events, Weddings | No Comments

Where to begin wit this 20 year vow renewal for our very own GA Babe. When Bri and Miguel decided they wanted to renew their vows, we got to work on the planning. There were so many personal touches that Bri wanted to add. In our family time is so important to us, the time we spend together, creating beautiful memories to hold on to. With that being said, you will notice time being the overall theme. From the cake table back drop to the table numbers, it all had meaning. The ceremony had and reception had an industrial boho flair with copper, DIY’d dream catchers, and dip dyed accents.
Bri and I feel that your wedding should be a reflection of you and your soon to be husband. Having personal touches will do just that!

When I found out my youngest sister (the other half of Golden Arrow) was pregnant, I was beyond excited. I couldn’t wait to get the planning started! Mel’s baby shower had a whimsicality flair with touches of boho accents. With Mel’s love of flowers, we knew we had to have blooms touching every part of this shower. Jackie with Penelope Pots Floral Design did just that! From the floral table arch to the floral crown station, it was a dreamy site to see. It was such a beautiful day of showering Mommy and baby! I hope you’ve enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed designing it!
